Bay Area CNA School Onboarding Instructions
Follow these Bay Area CNA School onboarding instructions in order after you enroll — from your initial application and Live Scan to your document uploads, CDPH submission, and state exam.

Complete Background Check and Health Screening, Then Upload Required Documents
Once you have completed your Live Scan (Criminal Background Check) and your health screening, upload each of the documents listed below to our Student Portal. Do not email them or bring paper copies. Click a document below for details on completing that step.

| ID Information | Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport. Due before the first day of class. |
Complete the CNA Application Form and Student Agreements
Submit the CNA Application Form, Student Agreement, and Liability Waiver — all available on our Student Portal. Fully online and takes about 10 minutes. Use the same email address you used when enrolling in your CNA class.
Due at least 2 days before your class start dateIf this is your first time logging in, you’ll be prompted to create a password.
Set Up Quizzing App for CNA Classes
Follow all instructions in the email for setting up the quizzing app used in our CNA classes. This message is sent approximately one week before your class begins.
Submit CNA Application to the CDPH Online Portal
Submit your application on the CDPH Online Portal toward the end of your training.

Bay Area CNA School Onboarding Instructions: Other Important Information
- 01All classes are held in person. Morning sessions begin at 7:00 AM, and afternoon sessions at 3:00 PM. Class start dates may occasionally change due to unforeseen circumstances; if that occurs, we will notify you. Please check our website for the most up-to-date schedule as your start date approaches.
- 02BLS/CPR add-on: if you added BLS/CPR during CNA enrollment, visit our office to pick up your enrollment code, or email info@bayareacna.com. This only applies if you paid for it as an add-on at checkout.
- 03Didn’t add BLS as an add-on but want to enroll now? Visit our BLS Enrollment page.
- 04Our school is at 7567 Amador Valley Blvd, STE 108, Dublin, CA (Amador Plaza). We have two classrooms — STE 108 and STE 104. Unless told otherwise, report to STE 108.
- 05On your first day, you’ll receive your curriculum book.
- 06During week 1, you’ll receive your supplies: scrubs, blood pressure monitor with stethoscope, and gait belt. No dress code for theory — school-issued scrubs required for clinical.
- 07Tuition can be paid by credit card, debit card, check, or cash. Cash/check must be paid in person; checks payable to “Bay Area CNA School”. A 2% convenience fee applies to card payments — pay by cash or check to avoid it. Pay the full fee in cash and receive a $50 discount.
- 08Daytime classes include a 45-minute lunch break; evening classes include a 30-minute dinner break. Every class also includes a 15-minute additional break.
