Yes all clinicals are also on weekends. Sat and Sun between 7 AM and 3 PM.

Yes, we offer appointments to tour the facility and learn more about the program. Please call us in advance to schedule an appointment.
Yes, we offer CNA classes during the summer, including the months of June and July. Enrollment typically opens three months in advance. We recommend registering early to secure your spot.
Yes we have Weekday as well as Weekend programs. Please refer to our Class Schedule for details.
Yes, we have a BLS (Basic life support) training course that provides 6 CEU (continuing education units) credits. This is a 4 hr training program. You can find all the information about this program here
Yes we run all our programs – Weekday AM, Weekday PM and Weekend, throughout the year. We publish class dates 4 months in advance. Please go to our Enrollment page to check upcoming class dates.
You can submit the financial aid form and we will reach out in future if we have any offers. Currently we are no having any financial aid offers.
CDPH (California Department of Public Health)is responsible for the certification of Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs). If you have not received your CNA license or have any other question about CNA licensing, please contact CDPH as per the following information.

If the class is full, you can join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available or a student drops out, we will contact individuals on the waitlist in the order they signed up.
We upload the class schedule and open enrollment three months in advance.
A CPR or BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is typically valid for 2 years from the date you complete the course. After that, you’ll need to take a renewal or recertification class to stay current.
Our CNA training program consists of 22 days of training, which includes classroom learning, as well as clinical training. For more information please check our Class Schedule.
We recommend that students take the exam as soon as possible after completing the training. Most of our students take their exam within a week of completion of the CNA training.

We do not offer an HHA program at this time. Please check back in the future.
If you are not vaccinated, you can still join the program. During the clinical training you will be asked to go through a weekly COVID testing.
You will receive your BLS certification directly from Tri-Valley Health & Wellness via email. Please remember to check your spam or junk email.
BLS certification is not required to enroll in the CNA program; it is optional. However, if you have already completed it, it’s good.

Live Scan results are only valid for three months. The state does not accept Live Scans that are older than three months.
While your California CNA license is valid in California, to work as a CNA in Utah, you’ll need to obtain certification in Utah through a process called reciprocity, which requires submitting an application and potentially meeting additional requirements.
BLS/CPR training (4.5 hrs) is conducted separately from the CNA program, and is optional. If you enrolled for this optional training, you will be asked to schedule your training in one of our monthly BLS programs.

After earning their CNA certificate, graduates typically work in nursing homes, hospitals, or home health care. They assist patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and mobility, and support nurses with basic care tasks. Some work in assisted living facilities, rehab centers, or hospice care. Many CNAs use this experience as a stepping stone to further their careers, often pursuing roles as LPNs or RNs.
We provide make up classes in the the event student has to miss a particular day of class. However note that this can delay the student’s graduation by a few days depending on the availability of a make up class for the missed module(s).
Please note that make up classes are provided only when student has to miss a class due to an emergency. Missed days must be limited to a maximum of 2 in the whole session.

The passing rate for each quiz is over 75%.
Class size is generally between 10 – 15 students.
You do not need to bring any supplies with you. Whatever you need will be provided during the class.
We partner with a few different clinical facilities for providing clinical training to our students. All these facilities are located in Pleasanton and Livermore area.
Bay Area CNA School is located at “7567 Amador Valley Blvd, STE 108 Dublin, CA 94568”. (it is right across Habit Burger Grill).
Yes we provide a set of scrubs that students need to wear during clinical training. There is no dress code for the theory / class room part of the training.

You need to visit a live scan facility and submit your live scan to initiate back ground screening. We need a copy of your live scan request form on first day of your class. Please note that as you long as you have “initiated” the live scan before your 1st day of class, you can start the training.

TB clearance report must be with in a year of your CNA training start date.

You can submit your passport copy, or school ID as an identificaton proof, and join our CNA training program.
Fee and Payments
We offer Payment Plan (installments) on all our classes except for the summer months.

CNA program tuition Fee varies between $1700 and $1900 depending on the program and month. This fee includes charges for books, scrubs and supplies. However it does not include charges for Live Scan Fee ($60+) and the state examination fee ($120).
