CDPH (California Department of Public Health)is responsible for the certification of Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs). BLS/CPR training (4.5 hrs) is conducted separately from the CNA program, and is optional. If you enrolled for this optional training, you will be asked to schedule your training in one of our monthly BLS programs.
We recommend that students take the exam as soon as possible after completing the training. Most of our students take their exam within a week of completion of the CNA training.
Class size is generally between 10 – 15 students.
Yes we run all our programs – Weekday AM, Weekday PM and Weekend, throughout the year. We publish class dates 4 months in advance. Please go to our Enrollment page to check upcoming class dates.

Yes, we have a BLS (Basic life support) training course that provides 6 CEU (continuing education units) credits. This is a 4 hr training program. You can find all the information about this program here
